No. A binary trigger fires one round on the pull and another on the release. The FRT is a forced-reset trigger. It fires one round per pull, but the trigger is mechanically reset forward by the bolt carrier, allowing for a very rapid follow-up shot.
Does this require any special tools to install?
No. Installation uses standard AR-15 armorer’s tools: a hammer and punch set for the standard fire control group pins. It drops into a mil-spec lower receiver.
